Although "gaslighting" has taken on a new meaning in the political climate these days, these products are a throwback to the days of actual "gas lighting."  With the commercial availability gas in the early 1800's, gas lighting became the new way to provide illumination - both indoors and on street lighting.  Decades later, and thanks to the genious and persistance of Thomas Edison, gas lamps were replaced by the unquestionably superior (and safer!) incandescent light bulb.

We are delighted to provide you access to a series of lamps designed and built in our Hanover NH facility and intended to bring back the appearance of lighting using gas as its energy source.  The raw black pipe and fittings adds a ruggedness and historic feel to the lamps.  Making these lamps practical today, we wire them and use old-fashioned "Edison Bulbs" as the source of illumination.  Together, they provide a unique, vintage-style lamp, with both style and function.
