Special Note: We are sold out of

At this point we are not aware of any other retailers in the
US have the original FlexyMike DEC in stock. We apologize for
the inconvenience. We recommend that you look at the
Sennheiser ME3 as a good alternative to the FlexyMike DEC.
The FlexyMike Dual Ear Cardioid – DEC, is a lightweight (about
25g.) stainless steel headset microphone for professional Speech
recognition, and other voice dependent applications. Manufactured
in the style of a traditional headband, the frame is covered with
injected rubber protectors that covers both ears for maximum
working comfort. An extremely flexible gooseneck and cardioid
microphone, enables the consistent positioning of the microphone
capsule and superior recognition accuracy with Dragon
The FlexyMike Dual Ear Cardioid – DEC has an unidirectional
cardioid polar pattern which provides excellent isolation from
ambient noise and effective noise control from adjacent sound.
Breath and pop noise is reduced to minimum with its optimum sound
pick up at the front of mouth position. Its distinguishing clarity
in close talk operation and excellent gain before feedback make it
suitable for all mobile situations.
The FlexyMike Dual Ear Cardioid – DEC has a polished 1m/40” long
cable sheathed with durable transparent plastic, along with a
standard 3.5 mm gold-plate jack. It has a very high performance and
noise rejection microphone capsule which is acoustically matched
for maximum performance with the SpeechMatic USB MultiAdapter and
Speech recognition or VoIP applications. An additional 2m/80”

Comments: we were astounded when we first tested this
microphone. When combined with the SpeechWare MultiAdapter,
our highest quality external USB adapter, we witnessed the
best accuracy we had ever seen with a headset, rivaling and perhaps
surpassing the Sennheiser ME3, our "gold standard". In
addition to its outstanding accuracy and external noise rejection,
this product is so lightweight that you will forget that you are
wearing it. Regarding an external USB adapter, you can expect
the best possible results when combined with the MultiAdapter, but
this microphone will also show excellent results with the Andrea
Pure Audio MA USB adapter. For more informaton, please read

From Steven Steinbaum of Allen, Texas on 8/26/2014.
I bought this microphone at the same time as the Radio Shack Sennheiser knockoff. Of the 2, the radio shack model was mork comfortable and worked better ...........the problem with the SpeechWare microphone is that it was so sensitive it recognized the whoosing of the room air conditionar as commands and wrecked havock with my computer . It may be great for a quieter environment,or if the weight or other micophones are cumbersome.Comments from Speech Recognition Solutions: This is a highly unusual complaint about this microphone. In lab testing using pre-recorded speech to do all profile creation and testing, we found the noise-free accuracy to be 99.7% and accuracy with recorded office noise just two feet away from the microphone and at an 80 db level to be 98.6%. It's also interesting to see a real-life YouTube video demonstrating the results of this microphone in the setting of noise from Niagra Falls - see this at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltHL7LbhkOo-Jon Wahrenberger
