7/12/2021 – Is this foot pedal programmable at the user level (i.e. not already programmed with a specific hotkey).
Response From Speech Recognition Solutions: This foot pedal is not pre-programmed to emulate any particular key, key-combination or action on the computer. Nor does it come with software to allow such programming. Rather, it depends upon the use of another software program (typically a transcription-related application) that can sense the foot pedal and use it emulate some action. It will also work with the Window-based Octopus USB Controller, which will sense the pedal and allow it to emulate a variety of functions.
