Response From Speech Recognition Solutions: The external numeric keypad simply acts identically to the one on the larger keyboard and does not in any way impact the functionality of the main keyboard. If you already have a numeric keypad as part of the main keyboard, the external one is, in some respects, entirely redundant. Beyond being able to locate it separate from the main keyboard, it doesn't offer any additional advantages. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Jon
