I received the Andrea USB adapter yesterday.

I have no way of knowing if it works better. I certainly know the unit is smaller and I certainly know the cable is shorter.
Beyond that I cannot really comment except to suggest that making the device so short in length including the USB connector adds to potential problems with the length of cords.
As my Dragon is not working properly and I am not that the microphone you supplied as promised it is hard for me to measure the impact of the Andrea adapter. It is certainly quite expensive. It is certainly very expensive when shipped to Australia.
As for your company, you have been most helpful and I have appreciated your prompt response and interest in my problems. Thank you Peter.

8/15/2017 – Is this for USB 3.0 or 2.0?

Response From Speech Recognition Solutions: The MA or "monaural" version only deals with sound in. It has only a microphone in jack. The SA version deals with both sound in and sound out (and has two jacks.)

It will work with Windows 10. I can't speak to Nuance Powerscribe, but see no reason it wouldn't work with it.

Finally, you do not need to install drivers. All necessary drivers will install directly from your operating system.
